Rest Home Care | Dementia Care | Hospital Level Dementia Care
At Tasman Rest Home and Dementia Care in Nelson we provide a complete continuum of care, from general rest home care through rest home level dementia care to hospital level dementia care.
The Rest Home has recently changed hands, and renovations will soon be completed to bring the home into line with our organisational philosophy of providing excellence in person-centred care in a small home environment.
Ora (life, Health and vitality) provides general rest home care, while Ata Hapara (dawn) and Rangi (sky) provide secure care for people with dementia. A cosy 12-bed home, Aio (peaceful), provides specialised hospital-level care for people with dementia.
We have a varied and exciting activities programme, with the emphasis on taking our residents out into the community where possible.
However, it is the loving person-centred care we provide to each and every resident that makes our facility truly special.
